IAAM/VMA Asia Pacific Elections Open

Each year at this time the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM)/Venue Management Association (VMA) Asia Pacific conducts its annual election to name officers. This yearâs election includes an impressive field of 11 nominees for positions.
The 2010 VMA Council Election opened as of 21st April and will close at 5pm on Friday 30th April.
IAAM/VMA Asia Pacific values and encourages your participation to help guide the future of the organisation as it serves its members.
1. Eleven (11) nominations were received for five (5) vacant ACTIVE positions on the 2010 VMA Council. There is no election required for the one (1) ALLIED position on Council as only one nomination was received.
2. All financial members, both Active and Allied can vote for the ACTIVE nominations.
3. You MUST write your name and membership category or your ballot will be INVALID.
4. You must be a financial member of the VMA to vote. All names on the ballot forms will be checked for financial membership status by Auditors and marked INVALID if not financial.
5. You MUST select five (5) ACTIVE nominees or your ballot will be INVALID.
6. All ballots are sent to an independent Auditor for counting. VMA does not have any access to individual results or the ballot form process.
