HQH Fitness rebrands and aims to lift standards
Fitness education and fitness equipment provider Highest Quality Health & Fitness (HQH) has rebranded itself as HQH Fitness and set itself the goal of lifting the standard of service in the fitness equipment provider category.
The New Zealand based company entered into the fitness industry in 1995 when owners Greg and Nancy Doherty become the first official distributor of Paul Chek courses in New Zealand. When Paul set up his San Diego Company the C.H.E.K Institute, HQH also took on the Australian distributorship.
As HQH grew the success of the CHEK program in New Zealand and Australia, they gradually incorporated various high quality functional fitness equipment and assessment tools into their product line to support the program. This included the DuraBall Pro Swiss Ball and the specially developed Paul Chek Triple Cross (produced by a New Zealand manufacturer).
In 2002, HQH Fitness became the exclusive South Pacific distributor for the commercial product line of Total Gym - the industry's first functional training and conditioning machine, used in 15,000 physical therapy clinics, athletic training facilities, hospitals, universities, professional sports teams and health clubs worldwide. With a completely new product line released worldwide, this new product line is already showing itself to truly represent the future of fitness.
The rebranding as HQH Fitness coincides with a new company direction and vision, repositioning HQH Fitness within the fitness equipment industry and taking a strong stance behind their new tag phrase 'Service. Innovation. Solutions'.
HQH Fitness sees a strong need to support fitness business owners throughout the sales process and break the mould of 'standard service'. By taking a personalised 'one on one' service approach with customers from pre to post sale, HQH Fitness is able to ensure customers are supported and given the guidance, recommendations and options they need to be successful. This initiative has been incredibly well received.
HQH Fitness has also developed specific initiatives to stand out from other companies. This includes strategic business partnerships with other companies to offer a complete, one-stop solution for customers. Combined with personalized video email, live webinars, phone coaching and video conferencing tools, HQH Fitness enters a new phase where they can connect with customers in a way that supersedes the approach of most fitness equipment companies today.
In June, HQH Fitness will implement a post-sale Business Development Program where HQH Fitness works with customers beyond the sale to ensure they are successful.
Explaining this initiative, Business Development & Marketing Manager Shara Curlett, states "more and more fitness professionals are coming into the industry armed with a fantastic vision, brilliant ideas, and loads of enthusiasm and passion. Some are even armed with strong social media skills to create a great profile for themselves.
"However, many still need help on the core business strategies required to implement their vision. Often they are so stuck in their business that they find it hard to take a step outside the business. Our primary aim as a company is for our customers to be successful and feel empowered to hit the ground running, and continue that success well past the 'honeymoon' period."
HQH Fitness still offers advanced fitness education solutions including C.H.E.K Institute education in New Zealand and FMA Strength Training throughout Australasia. Now, with a stronger focus on fitness equipment solutions, they can offer a complete repertoire of products to fitness, wellness and health professionals everywhere, helping them to achieve their dreams.
