Hong Kong Sports Institute remains in lockdown
With the city battling a fourth wave of coronavirus infection, the Hong Kong Sports Institute is to remain in lockdown until 16th December.
Effective since the beginning of the month, athletes and coaches who stayed at the dormitories will be allowed to continue their training, but they are not allowed to leave the premises during the period.
As reported by Hong Kong's The Standard, those who choose not to stay at the dormitories had to leave before 10pm on 1st December.
The training base for the city’s elite athletes located in Fo Tan had imposed a similar lockdown in March and July when Hong Kong recorded a surge in COVID cases.
