HF Industries and Star Trac Part Ways

After 20 years of representing Star Trac in Australia, HF Industries has been notified by Star Trac that its distribution contract will be terminated as of 1st January 2010.
In a statement from HF Industries which read "though regrettable for HF Industries and our staff, this decision by Star Trac reflects their desire to pursue alternative means of supplying and
servicing their equipment in Australia.
"That said, for over three decades HF Industriesâ commitment has always been to our customers.
"With that in mind, HF Industries will do everything in our power to make the transition as smooth as possible for all customers affected by this change.
"Once Star Trac provides details of our replacement, HF Industries will immediately pass the information to those of you with Star Trac equipment currently covered by warranty. Similarly, HF Industries will provide Star Trac, or their distributor, with the information needed to ensure support of any existing warranty."
The statement also advises customers that if they "would like to discuss anything in relation to Star Tracâs decision, please contact your HF Industries representative or Chris Skinner, Managing Director of HF Industries."
The statement concludes "just as we have been for 31 years, HF Industries will continue to be a leader in sourcing, supplying and servicing innovative fitness and wellness products."
Following this change HF Industries is expected to shortly announce a series of new developments and opportunities.
