Gym Guide Urges Safe and Effective warm ups

With an aim to prepare goers for their workouts, Pro-Visual Publishing is urging greater awareness of the benefits of a dynamic mobility warm up prior to exercising through its National Guide to Fitness & Health.
The Guide, sent out free of charge in time for the recent Australian Fitness Expo, encourages gym members to perform a dynamic mobility warm up in place of the commonly used extensive static stretching, and provides readers with step-bystep advice for performing the preferred method.
Dynamic mobility warm ups are frequently commended for their ability to increase core and muscle temperature whilst simultaneously preparing the joints and connective tissue for further exercise.
The Australian Fitness Network believes the Guide is an easily accessible resource for members of the fitness industry.
As Network's Analee Mathews explains "this year's Guide provides valuable, up-to-date information regarding the importance of warm up exercises, including practical examples for a multi-purpose warm up, (and) I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Guide who have made it possible for it to be distributed free of charge to the fitness industry."
By displaying the chart prominently, gym members and staff have a daily reminder of key areas integral to the health and wellbeing of all Australians.
The guide will be distributed to gyms and fitness centres nationally.
Additional copies are available and all Guides are produced and distributed without cost thanks to sponsorship.
For further information, or to obtain additional copies of the Chart please call Pro-Visual Publishing on 02 8272 2611.
