Victorian attraction Gumbuya World, is approaching the opening of a new family wave pool as part of a $10 million expansion, which will see its waterpark, Oasis Springs, almost double in size.
Due to open Melbourne Cup weekend, the heated wave pool is part of ongoing investments and expanded operations for the attraction, which will also see it stage its inaugural music event on Saturday 30th November 2019.
The Gumbuya Sounds of Nature event will feature live performances from Daryl Braithwaite, Jon Stevens, Vanessa Amorosi, Thirsty Merc, Reece Mastin and the Phil Ceberano Band.
The music event will see acts perform in an environment of stunning greenery with Australian pop legend Daryl Braithwaite playing some familiar songs that everyone can sing along to.
Looking forward to the expansion of its operations, Gumbuya World Chief Executive, Ron Weinzerl stated "with the launch of one of the most impressive wave pools in Victoria and our first ever live music event next month ... it’s going to be one huge welcome to summer celebration here at Gumbuya World.
“Gumbuya Sounds of Nature is one of many music events that we are planning to host at Gumbuya World. We couldn’t be more excited to kick things off with some of the greatest names in Australian music and we’re looking forward to welcoming thousands of live music fans from across Victoria and interstate this November."
