Goodlife Health Clubs embraces nutritional coaching

Offering participants the opportunity to lose up to 10 kilograms in five weeks, Goodlife Health Clubs' Revive Weight Control program is delivering better outcomes for clients and members.

With more than 80% of people who join a gym citing weight loss as a key goal, the Revive program combines the proven and successful eating program of Ultra Lite, with a movement regime designed by Goodlife Health Clubs.

The program is delivered by Revive's qualified nutritional and movement coaches, who provide the one-on-one coaching and support.

In 2009, Goodlife Health Clubs began investigating the provision of nutritional coaching as part of their service delivery in order to bring about better health outcomes for clients and to target the huge demographic of the deconditioned market.

As a result, Kim O'Loughlin was employed as the National Business Development Manager for Revive Weight Control - Goodlife Health Clubs weight management clinics.

With 18 years experience as naturopath, specialising in weight management, O'Loughlin commenced with Goodlife in 2010, charged with the task of establishing an effective weight loss offer within selected Goodlife Health Clubs.

The eating program introduced to the clubs was the Ultra Lite Weight and Health Management Program, which Goodlife rebranded as Revive Weight Control.

O'Loughlin is passionate about empowering members to achieve their desired body image and health goals, explaining "my history as a naturopathic nutritionist is based on whole foods and a natural approach to life. Revive is not about calorie counting and shakes and all those things that may work in a controlled environment and often for a short burst of time, it's about educating clients on the food, helping them with mental focus and increasing their movement. It's about a long-term weight control.

"Weight loss and control can be a very difficult road for some people and the key to long-term success lies in emotional support, empathy and empowerment.

"That's why having the support of a nutritional coach, such as those at Revive, is critical. The advice we give, coupled with the Ultra Lite eating program, helps members reach their goals faster."

Operating effectively for 13 years, Australian-owned Ultra Lite is scientifically proven and based on the healthy eating principles of natural whole foods. The program provides an affordable balance of protein and carbohydrates that enables fast yet safe weight loss.

The Revive Weight Control is currently offered at:

Wantirna Goodlife. T: 03 9801 3350
Armadale Goodlife. T: 03 9509 7622
Cross Roads Goodlife: T: 08 7129 9416

The program is also approved by a number of private health funds from whom participants may be entitled to claim a refund.
