Golf Australia cancels events until 30th June

In light of the ongoing Coronavirus issues and current Government restrictions with regards to outdoor public spaces, social distancing and essential activities, Golf Australia has made the decision to cancel all events until 30th June.

In a statement, Golf Australia advised "some time-honoured events sadly won't be played in 2020."

Events affected by the decision will be all those conducted by Golf Australia staff and any Order of Merit event.

The statement explained "this is not a decision that has been made in haste and has taken into consideration the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders in the sport and we’ll continue to make decisions based on that mantra in conjunction with our partners in the Australian golf industry."
