Garden of Unearthly Delights celebrates 20th anniversary with cabaret, circus and live music

The Garden of Unearthly Delights - one of Australia’s most vibrant and dynamic festival precincts - is celebrating its 20th year in 2022 and will officially open to the public on Thursday 17th February from 7.30pm to kick off Adelaide Fringe.

With a lineup featuring International and Australian cabaret, comedy, circus, live music and more, The Garden of Unearthly Delights creates a unique festival playground including multiple performance venues, bars, carnival rides, an array of world foods and market stalls. The Garden began with just one Spiegeltent in 2000. Over the past 20 years it’s evolved into one of Adelaide’s most impressive arts events and the heart of Adelaide’s summer arts festival season.

Opening Night Party host Rove Mcmanus will launch The Garden’s 20th year at The Garden Outdoor Stage along with Nurse Georgie Carroll, Smashed - The Brunch Party and magic stars from hit show The Purple Rabbit in a high energy preview of their world-class comedy, cabaret, exquisite drag and jaw-dropping circus.

Sydney's Midnight Tea Party - a five-piece band blending hypnotic melodies of dubstep, jazz and rock will create instrumental gypsy sounds with a modern edge.

Ticketed shows kick off from 18th February. See the full guide here.
