Freemotion from iFIT and Australian Fitness Supplies agree distribution partnership

Global fitness equipment and technology pioneer Freemotion from iFIT has announced that Australian Fitness Supplies will be the new distributor for its products in Australia

Announcing the distributorship, Freemotion from iFIT parent company iFIT Health & Fitness Inc. advised “this partnership will enhance the brand's presence in the thriving Australian commercial fitness sector, supporting new and existing Freemotion customers across the country.

“The move also expands the reach of iFIT- the parent company of Freemotion and one of the world’s best health and fitness platforms.

“Through iFIT, exercisers work out in the most breathtaking destinations on earth, live and on-demand. iFIT is available in the club on Freemotion cardio machines, at home either on NordicTrack or ProForm equipment or the iFIT TV app as well as on the go with the iFIT mobile app.

“What’s more, this game-changing iFIT technology already exists in the Australian commercial fitness sector, offering immersive omnichannel experiences that drive engagement, retention and lifetime member value. By integrating Freemotion and iFIT, facilities can create more touchpoints with members to stay connected with them wherever they are.”

Dan Alenaddaf (pictured below), Managing Director of Australian Fitness Supplies, welcomed the partnership, stating “we always strive to be a step ahead of the ever-changing and evolving fitness sector.

"Freemotion offers best-in-class products, including interactive cardio experiences powered by iFIT, which we believe is the most engaging content platform available. With Freemotion and iFIT, we have something truly exceptional we can offer across Australia."

Scott Walton, Freemotion Sales Director, APAC and MEA, added "successful operators must provide an interactive, connected fitness offering to meet the diverse needs and expectations of today’s exercisers.

"This partnership will set a new standard and grow the omnichannel opportunity in the Australian fitness sector".

Freemotion from iFIT is a global pioneer in fitness equipment and technology, having introduced the world to cable-based strength training, the Incline Trainer, and the first road-simulating indoor bike. Believing in what’s next, Freemotion is now leading the way in interactive, connected fitness with the 22 SERIES cardio line powered by iFit, while reinventing small group training for the new fitness age with FUSION Team Training.

With science and innovation at its core, Freemotion questions how we work out and then redefines it, creating groundbreaking products that deliver an unbeatable user experience and ultimately drive commercial results for its partners.

Involved in the health and fitness industry for over four decades, Australian Fitness Supplies is one of the few companies to offer complete design, manufacture and distribution of our range of specialty fitness equipment.

Striving to bring the most innovative products to its commercial customers, it offers some of the best brands in the world to gyms across Australia while also exporting its own brands and products worldwide through an extensive network of international distributors.

The distribution arrangement will see Australian Fitness Supplies take on responsibility for parts and servicing of Freemotion equipment.
