Forpark Australia showcases ParkFit versatility

Having released its new ParkFit range of outdoor fitness equipment, Forpark Australia has been showcasing the new product line at a series of open days in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney.

A manufacturer of outdoor fitness equipment since 2004, Forpark discontinued its former Outdoor Gym range last year, introducing ParkFit's fresh sleek look, cutting edge technology, unique design and usability, and the highest quality materials,

Designed and manufactured in Australia, ParkFit combines moving and static stainless steel fitness pieces with the latest technology in rubber resistance systems (RRS) - aiding increasing product longevity and reduced maintenance levels.

ParkFit is manufactured from the highest quality materials including 316 Electro Polished Stainless Steel, Anodised Aluminium and Injection Moulded Glass Filled Nylon.

As a result, the Parkfit system offers, according to a Forpark statement "a completely new level and type of work out, previously unseen in Australia ... designed to build a healthy body and healthy life."

The ParkFit system has already been installed by a number of local authorities, with a recent installation for the Southern Downs Regional Council at Kilpa Street Park in Stanthorpe, southern Queensland, attracting considerable local interest (pictured top).

Opening of the installation, which included a butterfly press, shoulder press, sit up board, leg press and quad extension, was attended by about 40 people including community service clubs, school children, Heartmoves group, fitness trainers and other community members.

Launching the installation, Southern Downs Regional Council Mayor Peter Blundell stated "we are encouraging park users to `step it up' and save a part of their day for a fitness regime.

“The equipment is ideal for community use because each piece has an information plaque near it as a guide for use, users can start off with easy resistance but build to more difficult workouts and groups can meet at the park and work out together.

"Council is very proactive about promoting a healthy and active lifestyle and having the Parkfit equipment available for everyone to use demonstrates our commitment."

Beyond the recent ParkFit product showcase events in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney, further events are planned for Adelaide and Melbourne.
