Fitstop expansion continues with opening of additional New Zealand locations
Fitstop, one of the fastest-growing functional fitness franchises is expanding with two additional locations opening in New Zealand.
Fitstop Riccarton, Christchurch will open 10th September and Fitstop New Plymouth will open 24th September.
Having boosted membership growth by over 70% through the evidence-based Fitstop Formula, the brand has inspired and educated over 19,000 members and continues to grow.
Fitstop - the home of functional fitness - currently operates 90 locations across Australia and New Zealand, with the first New Zealand franchise (Hamilton Central) having opened earlier this year.
Fitstop Chief Executive and Founder Peter Hull enthused “we are excited to see Fitstop support the amazing New Zealand community and take their health and fitness to the next level.
“Through our hands-on approach and personalised training, we’re excited to inspire people across New Zealand to achieve real results.
“On top of providing a proven training program to New Zealand, we also provide a results-driven franchise business.
“New Zealand is a big focus for us, with another 10+ locations already in the works to open along with the appointment of Brendan Hurrell as our Fitstop New Zealand General Manager, who will be based in Auckland.”
Incorporating a variety of 50-minute sessions combining the fundamentals of cardiovascular and strength, Fitstop provides athletic-inspired training allowing members to experience real results.
Sam Russell and Jesse Mclean, Fitstop Riccarton Co-Founders advise “our Fitstop journey has been an incredible process in the making and we couldn't be happier to be bringing this to the Riccarton community.
“We want to be able to support our community with their journey for a healthier mind, body and soul. We believe that movement is more than just supporting your physical well-being, your mental well-being is just as important!
“We can't wait to build a community of like-minded people who want to build the best version of themselves.”
When former All Black halfback Brendon Leonard retired, his passion was exercise. A superbly fit professional athlete for 15 years, his desire to exercise and stay fit was by then ingrained.
“Recently New Plymouth was declared the best city of its size in the world,” said Leonard, set to open Fitstop New Plymouth.
“I’m sure the gym will add another dimension to the vibrant community here. Community is very important to me and Fitstop is something unique.
“Everyone has different body shapes and injury histories and needs to be treated individually."
Leonard added “our goal at Fitstop is to empower people to move more, to live more. Through being active, combined with the community connection, we want for our members to leave fulfilled."
Fitstop offers no lock-in contracts, simply the ability to pay weekly for unlimited sessions. Members enjoy a personal trainer and coach for athlete-inspired training in a personalised group training environment.
With everything managed through a custom-built app, this technology allows Fitstop members to add training targets and goals, guiding and elevating the entire experience like no other fitness business - with ultimately, the training setting Fitstop apart.
Fitstop Riccarton opens 10th September, with Fitstop New Plymouth opening 24th September.
