Final registrations welcomed for 2024 Healthy Ageing Summit

The organisers of the Healthy Ageing Summit have advised that registrations are still being accepted for the event's 2024 edition - being held in Brisbane as of this Friday.

Being presented by the Healthy Ageing Institute, the event - being held on 31st May at the Brisbane Technology Park, 8 Mile Plains - includes a comprehensive program along with the delivery of educational resources aimed at promoting healthy ageing and enhancing the quality of life for individuals in the ageing demographic.

The presentation and discussion of strategies for effectively marketing gyms and studios to the active ageing population will be a key part of the program.

Summit presenters are a diverse and accomplished group, each bringing unique expertise to the table.

Ian O’Dwyer, Laraine Dunn and Dave Liow - renowned in the fitness and wellness industries - offer an holistic approach to health, encompassing movement, personalised health and optimal movement for seniors.

Angela Lee Jenkins, with her extensive background in wellness, shares transformative insights for a fulfilling life.

Additionally, Dr Cam McDonald contributes his expertise in personalised and precision health.

Within a lineup promising a wealth of knowledge, from movement coaching to holistic health practices, providing attendees with practical tools and inspiration for healthy ageing, other presenters include:

  • Emmet Williams, founding Partner, Myzone

  • Grant Gamble, best-selling author and wellness and business-growth expert

  • Guy Leech, former Australian Ironman surf lifesaving champion

The event is being emceed by Group Fitness Specialist Mel Tempest who explains "I am delighted to emcee the Healthy Ageing Summit.

The theme for the Summit is ‘Providing Solutions for a Healthier Living Environment’, with most sessions offering practical components that can be immediately integrated into attendees' businesses and training methodologies.
