FIBO and PGA Show collaborate to strengthen golf and fitness connection
Germany’s FIBO fitness industry trade show is partnering with the PGA Show, golf’s largest and longest-running global business event with the collaboration linking the worlds of fitness and golf, delivering innovative solutions and fostering growth across both industries.
A Partnership that unites values
Both events are dedicated to fostering industry growth by offering deep insights into their respective trends, providing unmatched platforms to showcase innovations and technology, delivering extensive educational offerings, and facilitating key professional networking programs.
By collaborating, FIBO and the PGA Show emphasise the vital connection between fitness, health and athletic performance, providing tools and resources for professionals to thrive in these interconnected fields.
Silke Frank, Event Director FIBO (RX Germany) notes “Fitness and health are essential components of golf and are also becoming increasingly recognised by millions of golfers worldwide. By joining forces, we have the opportunity to present innovative solutions and approaches for golfers, industry professionals, and businesses alike,” said Silke Frank, Event Director FIBO (RX Germany).
Initiatives for a shared future
FIBO and the PGA Show have already begun planning cooperative activities, which will be developed in the coming months to foster mutual growth and create new opportunities for various target groups. These initiatives include:
Integration of shared content and program highlights: Both events will introduce new thematic focuses that emphasise the connection between health, fitness and golf.
Joint initiatives in education and innovation: Workshops and lectures will provide golfers and industry professionals with insights into the latest developments and trends.
Enhanced international networking: Strategic collaborations with other industry players will be established to promote intercultural exchange.
Innovation marketplaces: Companies will have a platform to showcase pioneering technologies and products for health, fitness and golf.
Implementing these initiatives will enable both events to better serve their existing audiences while also reaching new visitor and market segments.
Enhancing Fitness, Health and Golf at the PGA Show
Through this partnership, FIBO and the PGA Show are taking steps to strengthen the golf and fitness connection. In recent years, the Golf Fitness, Health & Wellness area on the PGA Show Floor has grown to feature more than 60 related exhibits and complementary education sessions each Show Day. Key golf industry partnerships with TPI and the Golf Fitness Association of America further ensure that attendees have access to cutting-edge golf fitness, health and wellness products and resources. Collaborating with FIBO will expand the availability of cutting-edge fitness and health solutions for PGA Show attendees.
Marc Simon, Event Vice President for PGA Golf Exhibitions (RX USA) adds "with the FIBO partnership, we are further strengthening the connection between golf and fitness in a very meaningful way. Together with our existing partners, FIBO and the PGA Show can create a unique collaborative program to elevate both industries while fostering global connections to positively impact the golf experience."
