Ferny Grove Netplex installation an Australian first

The recent installation of a Netplex playground unit in Bob Cassimaty Park in Fenry Grove, north-west Brisbane is an Australian first.

Launch by Landscape Structures in January and offering varied play challenge for children of all ages, Netplex keeps children engaged on the playground for longer with activities including spinning, sliding, climbing, monkey bars, tight rope and the ‘surf board’, which can be used as a simple rocker or for the older children, an innovative surfing challenge.

The central tower’s Skyport Climber gives levels of climbing challenge and ‘hang out’ seats along the way. Accessed from the internal portal or climbing up the outside, the height of the climber provides a rewarding spot at the top for children to decide which challenge to take on next.

Additional play items surround the main structure, include a four seat swing with an all abilities swing seat that provides full support for users with limited upper body strength.

Complementing an existing skate park and expansive natural creek area, this new recreational space is a great asset to the community promoting a range of outdoor activity for children and the community.
