Facts About NZ Culture, Recreation and Sport

New Zealandâs Office for the Community and Volunteer Sector has released a series of facts about sub-sectors of the community sector â covering culture, recreation and sport.
Analyzing cultural, arts and sports organisations; social clubs and other recreational clubs is advises that the sector is the largest in terms of non-profit institutions (43,220); the third largest by numbers of employees and that its economic contribution is fifth largest in the not-for-profit sector.
