Exercise monitoring system to stop members doing too much

With injury a major roadblock to fitness club members achieving their exercise goals, and overtraining often a cause, iQniter is aiming to solve the issue with forward looking training guidance.

iQniter provides members with an instant performance report after the class and included is a Training Effect number on a scale of one to five.

One means the session was great for recovery and five represents an over reaching session or a session that should only be completed one to two times per week by highly trained individuals.

Everyone will respond to the same training load differently and Training Effect allows members to know the immediate effect a session had on their body and therefore how hard they should go next session.

To assist members further, instructors get an instant group report highlighting participants Training Effect and the class average. Instructors can then chat to individual members before they walk out the door with relevant and specific information about their session and what they should do next. The class average Training Effect is great for professional development too because managers can see which instructor gets the best out of a particular class and use their x-factor to coach other instructors.

iQniter can be viewed at stand N29 at the 2015 Australian Fitness & Health Expo – being held in Melbourne from 10th to 12th April.

As of 2021, FitPod Australia no longer distributes iQniter in Australia.
