Eventbrite reduces fees to offer savings for Australian customers

Leading self-service ticketing platform Eventbrite has announced that it will lower its payment processing fees for its Australian customers.

After 16 months in the Australian market, Eventbrite has reduced its payment processing fee from 3.5% to 2% for paid events.

The platform will continue to allow users to list free events at no cost.

Eventbrite Australian Managing Director Rachael Neumann explains "with successes like Rainbow Serpent, Beyond the Valley, and Taste of Australia, Eventbrite is seeing strong traction in Australia, and we’re excited to offer more savings to our Australian customers."

Eventbrite’s payment system boasts a range of perks including a seamless purchase experience, reserved seating capabilities, and easy management for refunds and chargebacks. The company will also continue to support PayPal and provide multiple payment options.
