Eventbrite and Bandsintown integration now available to Australian organisers and ticket buyers
The integration between ticketing and events technology platform Eventbrite and Bandsintown is now available to event organisers and ticket buyers in Australia.
The first phase of the partnership which launched in the USA in January, delivered a first-to-market deep integration of Bandsintown Promoter which makes it seamless for Eventbrite organisers to reach new music fans completely within the Eventbrite environment.
The second phase, which has just launched globally, is a consumer-focused offering that allows music fans to complete their entire Eventbrite concert ticket purchase without ever leaving the Bandsintown environment.
In three simple steps, fans can find and purchase tickets to concerts sold on Eventbrite, without ever leaving the Bandsintown app. This new, end-to-end checkout eliminates the redirect to ticketing pages, which can help drastically increase ticket sales.
For the first time ever, fans can also retrieve their Eventbrite tickets in the Bandsintown app, making event entry easier for them and venue staff.
Eventbrite, which was founded in 2006, has processed over $5 billion in gross ticket sales which includes more than 175,000 concerts and festivals. Among the events the ticketing platform has worked are Newport Folk Festival, Wanderlust, BottleRock and Lightning in a Bottle, a campout festival. Eventbrite was also one of Facebook's original launch partners in 2008.
While Bandsintown works with a number of ticketing companies, this is only the second time the platform has integrated a ticketing service into its in-app purchase flow.
