EVANZ General Manager Lynn Robinson set to move to Tourism Industry Aotearoa
The Entertainment Venues Association of New Zealand (EVANZ) has announced that General Manager Lynn Robinson will not renew her contract, moving to a full time role with Tourism Industry Aotearoa.
Robinson (pictured), who took on the EVANZ role last year in a part-time capacity while also working for TIA will be finishing her role with EVANZ on 31st August.
Announcing Robinson's departure, EVANZ President, Keith Parker advised of his "regret" at the change, writing "many of you will know that Lynn has been wearing two hats for the past year - juggling the part-time management of EVANZ with the role of Sustainability Advocate with TIA.
"Lynn is very passionate about sustainability and is looking forward to focusing on just one role.
"She will still be working closely with our industry, providing support and advice on sustainability.
Parker added "the EVANZ board would like to thank Lynn for the significant contribution that she has made in the year that she has been with us.
"She has certainly put us in a great position to move the association forward. Lynn is working on finalising a number of projects before her departure, including the EVANZ strategic plan 2020-2022, which will provide clear direction for EVANZ for the next three years."
EVANZ will advertise the General Manager's position via SEEK in the next week and the advertisement will be posted on the EVANZ website and Facebook page.
