Enta partners with City of Greater Bendigo

Enta Australasia has signed the City of Greater Bendigo to use its world leading ticketing, marketing and CRM solution.

The City of Greater Bendigo manages Capital Venues and Events who look after The Capital Theatre, Engine Room, Bendigo Town Hall and Dudley House, with a new 1,000 seat theatre space, Ulumbarra, set open in April 2015. (In the language of the Dja Dja Wurrung people Ulumbarra means ‘gather together’ or ‘meeting place’).

In 1902, The Capital - Bendigo's Performing Arts Centre, then the city’s Masonic Hall was described as follows:

“The Masonic Hall was designed by two prominent Freemasons, W.C. Vahland and his partner, Robert Getzschmann. The foundation stone for the building was laid on 24th June, 1873. It was the most ornate building in the City; the magnitude of its proportions and the classic beauty of its architectural design was regarded as an ornament not only to the City but to the State of Victoria.”

Commenting on their new partnership, enta Australasia Managing Director John Godwin stated “enta is continuing to win new customers with its extensive and intuitive ticketing and CRM solution and we’re thrilled to partner with Capital Venues and Events.

“They are among the growing number of Australian customers who are choosing enta for a number of reasons, including its extensive ticketing, CRM, online sale and reporting capabilities and its solution based support and intergrations.”

Capital Venues and Events Manager David Lloyd added “with the fantastic new Ulumbarra Theatre about to open expanding the range and variety of venues we manage we felt it was vital to look closely at the integration of our operational-critical software solution.

“enta offered a really collaborative and creative approach and we welcome the opportunity to work closely with the great team. We are excited to be working with enta on the next stage of our development”.

enta also provides the ticketing software solution for a large number of small, medium and large theatres, entertainment and convention centres, festivals, events and ticketing companies including The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) and its Qtix ticketing service. QPAC is the largest and most successful performing arts venue in Australia

Recently, enta has also signed up the Sutherland Entertainment Centre and Penrith Performing and Visual Arts to add to its existing range of clients.

Currently, enta is responsible for selling tens of millions of tickets annually in over 500 entertainment organisations across 24 countries.
