EGYM and Virtuagym partnership delivers integration of club management software

Global fitness technology and corporate fitness leader EGYM has partnered with Virtuagym, a leading provider of All-in-One fitness coaching and club management technology.

Overall, the partnership between EGYM and Virtuagym provides a more streamlined and convenient solution for gym operators, allowing for greater efficiency and improved member experience.

The partnership harnesses the power of both companies' open platforms, seamlessly integrating Virtuagym's comprehensive member management software into EGYM's expansive Ecosystem.

The integration offers numerous benefits for a wide spectrum of customers, ranging from single clubs to enterprise brands with multiple locations. It will allow gym operators to effortlessly fine-tune their Virtuagym memberships with enhanced EGYM functionalities, effectively transforming them into enticing add-ons for their members. For example, access to EGYM machines can now be easily included as part of the club’s membership add-ons, helping to create additional revenue streams for gym operators through an automated monetisation process.

Any add-on that is assigned or adjusted within Virtuagym’s member management software is automatically applied to the user's profile in the EGYM ecosystem, such as granting access to machines or EGYM's advanced training methods via EGYM+. By facilitating  seamless connectivity between Virtuagym and EGYM's advanced training system, both companies can effectively address a recurring need expressed by their joint customer base. The time-consuming burden of administrative tasks is dramatically reduced, allowing operators more time to focus on delivering exceptional fitness experiences.

EGYM Chief Executive Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer (pictured above left) notes "Our partnership with Virtuagym aligns with our ‘best of breed’ approach, which enables operators to choose the best providers in the market for their specific needs. For instance, EGYM’s hard- and software for the training floor, and Virtuagym's membership management software."

For EGYM, Virtuagym is a notable addition to its open Ecosystem, that currently includes the products and services of more than 130+ partners enabling gym operators to unify the data from multiple sources, including club management, members' private apps, wearables, and all areas of the training floor, streamlining operations and improving overall efficiency.

For Virtuagym, this new integration is an important milestone as it continues to develop a suite of new products and solutions, including the launch of its first connected strength integration and a first Artificial Intelligence driven product, Virtuagym AI Coach. It also underlines Virtuagym’s open-platform philosophy, which enables its solutions to be integrated with other fitness software and hardware providers to further enhance the customer experience.

Hugo Braam, Chief Executive & Co-Founder of Virtuagym (pictured above right) adds “Partnering with EGYM to create this innovative solution demonstrates our commitment to enhancing our open and customizable All-in-One solution, so that our customers can deliver even more powerful, digitally-enabled member experiences.

“This integration shows how fitness technology can both elevate the connected member experience and drive business efficiency.”

According to Leonhard Oswald, Club Operations Manager for Munich based BodyInvestment Campus, the integration is “a flawless interconnected experience.” He added, “Having one seamless system is far more efficient for club owners and makes it easier to spot and resolve any mistakes. Ultimately, it means our trainers can spend more time focused on their members. If you work with both EGYM and Virtuagym, we really recommend using the integration.”

Virtuagym supports more than 20 million consumers, over 9,000 fitness businesses, and 45,000+ trainers worldwide, including Easy Fitness, XSport, Fit20, Fitness Park, and many more.
