Earlybird Registration set to end for 10th annual Ticketing Professionals Conference
Delegates wanting to register for the 2014 annual Ticketing Professionals Conference and Tradeshow in Brisbane have just over two weeks to take advantage of the 15% discount earlybird registration offer.
The earlybird registration offer for the conference, which is being held from Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th February 2014, closes Register on Friday 13th December.
The Conference is set to feature four international speakers who will share their expertise and exciting case studies:

In addition to the main conference, Monday 17th February will be a Training Day with ticketing vendors that include: Enta, Tessitura, Tickets.com, TicketServ and SeatAdvisor. This is followed by the Keynote speaker and opening drinks and then on Tuesday and Wednesday the conference sessions with the Tradeshow running parallel adjacent to the sesssions.

Digital technologies continue to emerge apace, continuing to change public behaviour, and therefore general cultural, social, and economic norms. For us, in the cultural sector, society - the general public - is our audience, and as society becomes increasingly more digital, so must we. Hannah Rudman will examine that horizon: digital experiences and tools are commonplace in all aspects of our lives.
Existing digital technologies like smart phones and tablets present us with new possibilities: ticketing professionals will be given ideas for how mobile technologies can achieve taking ticketing outside the four walls of the venue.
Emerging technologies like frictionless transactions and the internet of things are digital technologies that will impact our world in ways that we're only just beginning to imagine - this is the emerging horizon, what challenges and opportunities might it bring? Hannah will introduce examples of practice and solutions from cultural organisations and their events around the world, and offer practical help via the pragmatic tools she uses in her extensive digital development work within the arts, culture and heritage sector.

Implementing Dynamic Pricing for Box Office Managers
Now commonplace in the USA and growing in importance elsewhere, dynamic pricing is coming of age as a crucial strategy for maximising income. But implementing dynamic pricing is not necessarily straightforward. A variety of different methods can be used which is the best for you? How do you track changes to prices and their impact? And of course the box office is in the front line if customers complain about prices.
Tim Baker has worked with organisations across the US and rest of world on developing dynamic pricing strategy. He will talk about methods of implementation which minimize workload and create an audit trail so that additional income can easily be tracked. Tim will also give some hints and tips he's learned about how best to communicate dynamic pricing to your customers.
