Early bird registrations open for 2013 Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress
With the region's venue industry focussing on the recent opening of the Perth Arena, the Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress will be heading to Perth in 2013.
Embracing the theme of 'Creating Synergy - For an Enhanced Patron Experience' and producing a rich and vibrant program of speakers, as well as the usual outstanding social and networking events, the 2013 Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress with be held at Crown Perth from 5th to 8th May next year.
Explaining the theme, Congress Chair Steve Harper CFE states "synergy is simply the interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.
"As venue managers and suppliers of services we can work synergistically with the venue hirers to deliver an enhanced experience to our patrons. By working synergistically we can produce results that are superior to us working independently.
"It is the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, when venue managers, suppliers of services to the venues and the venue hirers are in a synergistic relationship they can produce results for the patrons that are greater than if they had acted individually."
Hosted by the Venue Management Association (Asia and Pacific), the annual Congress has grown into the single biggest gathering of venue industry professionals in the Asia-Pacific Region.
The 2012 Congress on Queensland's Gold Coast attracted almost 300 attendees who enjoyed a fantastic program of keynote and technical sessions as well as a great social program filled with important networking opportunities.
With fast-growing Perth the destination for the 2013 Congress, the Venue Management Association encourage potential delegates to make the most of such an accessible city while attending the Congress and to consider extending stays to make the most of all that Western Australia has to offer.
