Diversified Communications adds to trade portfolio with Total Facilities Expo acquisition

Diversified Communications has announced the acquisition of Total Facilities Expo, adding a new dimension to its growing trade portfolio and cementing its position as one of Australia's most successful exhibition organisers.

Total Facilities Expo was established by National Media and is now Australia's largest dedicated industry gathering of facility planners, specifiers, designers and managers.

Announcing the acquisition, Diversified Communications Managing Director Matt Pearce stated "we look forward to working with the Facility Management Association and thought leaders within the industry to continue growing and developing the show."

Pearce stated that industry insights and a focus on education would remain a key emphasis, adding "it is estimated that the facility management industry employs over 200,000 workers and contributes over $20 million to the Australian economy, making it a very valuable opportunity and addition to our trade and professional offering."

Diversified Communications will open the 2015 Total Facilities Expo at the new Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island on 25th and 26th March next year.

Total Facilities Expo represents over 65 industry categories including maintenance and repair products, predictive and preventative maintenance technologies, energy reduction and management solutions, workplace safety, security and interiors. Visitors are responsible for the management, maintenance and sustainability of large buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.

Total Facilities Expo will sit within Diversified Communications trade portfolio, complimenting the Security Exhibition and Conference, Australasian Waste & Recycling Exhibition, designEX, DesignBUILD and Integrate.

Diversified Communications also run the Australian Fitness & Health Expo.
