DISCO CLUB women’s entertainment event experiences exponential growth in popularity

DISCO CLUB, the creation of podcasters, Lise and Sarah, has seen events sold out in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne with their upcoming Sydney event scheduled for August to be held at Liberty Hall.

DISCO CLUB is all about a judgement-free, safe, friendly space for women, and people who identify as women and offers a night of dancing and singing with friends that celebrates comfort, inclusivity, nostalgia, and early start and finish times.

As the founders of DISCO CLUB share “the minimum age is 18 because DISCO CLUB is held at licensed venues, but there’s no upper age limit. The majority of music played will be from the 80s, 90s and 00s, so if that’s your gran’s jam…bring her too!”

The dress code is wear whatever you feel comfortable dancing in from sequins and heels to denim and sneakers.

The impressive trajectory of DISCO CLUB began in November 2022, when Lise and Sarah hired a room at a bowls club in Brisbane, Queensland, borrowed a speaker, shared a microphone, and pressed play on music they loved to 80 women who – just like them – wanted a simple, friendly, fun night out dancing.

Since then, the growth in popularity and demand for tickets of DISCO CLUB has been exponential.
