Details announced for 2019 National Sports Convention
After a successful 2018 National Sports Convention, which saw over 1,540 delegates and exhibition visitors attend, NSC 2019 will return to Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th July 2019.
With the theme ‘Revolutionising Sport – for Australia’s Future Generation, the Convention will cover participation, community infrastructure, sport management and industry development.
With support from over 20 industry peak bodies, NSC 2019 will include more opportunities to connect and network with industry colleagues in the expanded and more activated Sport and Recreation Expo.
NSW founder Martin Sheppard advised “we have additional exhibition space, sport activation zones and more meeting space (at what is) the largest sporting trade show in Australia.
“(It) offers a rare opportunity to meet sports management professionals from sports groups and government.
NSC is held in collaboration with Sport Australia and the Committee of Australian Sport and Recreation Officials (CASRO), with the support of Vic Health.
Days either side of the main Convention hosting additional industry co-located events, tours and forums.
