Delegates to share experiences in 'Pecha Kucha' session at Ticketing Professional Conference

The upcoming NARPACA Ticketing Professionals Conference will give delegates from around Australia the opportunity to share their stories.
Building on the conference theme 'Learn From The Best', the conference will include a new session 'Pecha Kucha' art of precise presentations session. The Pecha Kucha presentation methodology consists of 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (six minutes and 40 seconds in total). The format, which keeps presentations concise and fast-paced, will consist of six short punchy presentations being brought to life with images, from ticketing professionals including Amy Maiden, Senior Account Director, aka; Ricky Bryan, Marketing Manager, Canberra Theatre Centre; Robyn Gander, Ticketing and Client Services Manager, Queensland Performing Arts Centre and others.
The presenters will deliver a variety of engaging stories that illustrate challenge, innovation and/or experimentation with topics including ticketing a big event, organising a major fundraiser, responding to a natural disaster, and launching a celebration subscription season.
Being held at the Sydney Menzies Hotel from 18th to 20th February 2013, the 9th Northern Australian Regional Performing Arts Centres Association (NARPACA) conference, training day and tradeshow is expected to attract around 200 box office, marketing and venue management delegates from around Australia and New Zealand.
Run over three days, NARPACA is the professional development and networking event for anyone who sells tickets.
