Cuddly celebration marks the start of Otway Fly Tree Week

The annual Otway Fly Tree Week event at the Otway Fly Treetop Adventures is set to kick off with a special weekend-long animal encounter exhibit.

Coinciding with Planet Ark’s National Tree Day on Sunday 26th July, Otway Fly will be selling special seeds for guest to plant at home. National Tree Day is Australia's largest community tree planting and nature-care event, joining thousands of individuals in making a difference, connecting people with nature, beautifying neighbourhoods and inspiring positive environmental change. All proceeds from the sale of the seeds will go towards future tree planting in the Otway forest.

Otway Fly Treetop Adventures General Manager, Daniel Kay explained “Otway Fly Tree Week is a great opportunity to remind people of the importance of caring for our natural environment and a chance to encourage people to enjoy special places such as the Otway rainforest.

“We look forward to introducing our guest to some of the adorable animals that call Otway home and we hope visitors will take this opportunity to get involved with National Tree Day by planting their own trees with our take home seeds.”

Otway Fly Treetop Adventures, the world’s tallest Treetop walk, offers a ‘koalas-eye’ view of the magnificent rainforest. The 600 metre long, 25 metre high elevated walkway provides unrivalled views of the unique flora and fauna. The peak of the walk presents the 45 metre high spiral tower and a cantilever perched above Young’s Creek.

Otway Fly Treetop Adventures Zipine tour takes guests on an adrenalin pumping experience 30 metres above the forest floor, presenting a unique way to view the rainforest.
