Crunch Fitness leads Australian return of STEP aerobics

Looking to revive the STEP aerobics trend of the 1980s in an entertaining and contemporary setting, Crunch Fitness is set to launch ‘STEP exer-tainment’.

A popular workout of 30 and more years ago, STEP has been making a comeback in fitness clubs around the world.

Crunch is bringing this to Australia, launching the long-awaited comeback of STEP with a fresh approach - creatively combining exercise and entertainment - as ‘STEP exer-tainment’.

To celebrate the launch, Crunch has recalled some of Australia’s original STEP exponents, world-famous for pioneering the best of STEP programming of former years.

These all-time greats will team up with some of Crunch’s best instructors to present a festival-style STEP launch event at the Crunch Sydney CBD gym on Thursday 25th July.

A Crunch spokesperson explains “stepping up, over and around an adjustable step to the beat of high-energy music gives you an excellent total-body workout that is good for burning fat, building muscle and improving your overall fitness.”
