Cricket Victoria launches training series for volunteers
Cricket Victoria has launched its Club Development Series to deliver training and advice to volunteers at both clubs and associations on topics important to their health and sustainability.
Through a range of webinars and pre-recorded videos from mid-July to late October, the Club Development Series will support clubs and associations as they prepare for the 2020/21 cricket season.
Topics and dates include:
Volunteer Recruitment & Retention: 13th – 17th July
Raising Revenue: 27th – 31st July
Child Safety: 31st August – 4th September
School to Club Transition and Woolworths Cricket Blast: 21st – 25th September
Growing Girls Cricket
From each topic, volunteers will connect with subject experts, and engage with other members of the cricket community who may have a range of different ideas that could be implemented within another club or association.
The Club Development Series will provide flexibility for volunteers to attend sessions that suits their availability. Each topic will have at least four webinars across a range of different dates and times. What’s even better is that the webinars will be recorded and can be viewed by those who can’t make it or wish to watch back later.
