Countdown to Australia's premier convention for event industry professionals
This week will see the combined Australian Business Events Expo and Sydney's Event Showcase staged at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Co-located for the first time, the event is being held on Wednesday 14th August and Thursday 15th August.
The Australian Business Events Expo is a two-day tradeshow that brings together buyers and sellers who provide products, people, destinations and services that are integral to delivering business events and conferences held around Australia.
Event organisers explain that "it's the ultimate market place for business events in Australia - dedicated to meetings, incentives, conferences and business events."
Sydney's Event Showcase is Australia's premier exhibition for event industry professionals such as event planners, advertising executives, marketing and PR managers, business leaders, corporate event managers, executive and personal assistants, function organisers, personal conference organisers, account managers, and many more.
The event brings together more than 220 industry suppliers and approximately 4,500 event professionals from the corporate and special events world.
For the first time, the co-located events will also feature two-day VIP Buyer Program providing exhibitors across both tradeshows, the ability to have one-on-one meetings with some of Australia's and the Asia Pacific's most influential and prominent event buyers.
With more than 60 targeted VIP buyers coming from the association, government, event agencies and the corporate sectors across the Asia Pacific region, the program offers all exhibitors unprecedented access to meet with pre-qualified, event professionals with business in hand.
Set to be opened by NSW Deputy Premier Andrew Stoner, the combined events also feature a high quality seminar program being addressed by industry leaders.
