The AGPC says that grandstand sales are currently tracking 35% higher than this time last year with general admission not far behind. As AGPC Chief Executive Andrew Westacott explains "last week saw the highest corporate hospitality sales in over two years.
"All of these things point to a great turnout in March and we have an incredible event planned.
"Sponsorship is also tracking beautifully and we are happy to welcome Red Bull, Pepsi, Porsche, Lexus and Renault to the Grand Prix family in 2011. We have also re-signed three year deals with LG and Vodafone and look forward to working with them again."
The competition for the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship creates the perfect setting for a big weekend of speed, adrenaline and world-class entertainment at the spectacular setting of Melbourne's Albert Park.
March will be an exciting time in Melbourne. The city will be abuzz with media, celebrities and event-goers here to witness the pinnacle of motor racing at the 2011 Formula 1T Qantas Australian Grand Prix.
