Coopers extends Adelaide stadium sponsorship deal
Coopers Brewery has extended its naming rights sponsorship of Coopers Stadium at Hindmarsh by another five years, taking the agreement through to 2023.
Announcing the extension, Coopers National Sales and Marketing Director Cam Pearce said that the Adelaide-based brewer had initially signed a five year sponsorship arrangement with the manager of the stadium, Adelaide Entertainments Corporation, in July last year.
Pearce explained “however, the response to the arrangement was such that we had no hesitation in seeking to extend it by another five years until 2023..
“A recent upgrade at the stadium, including new seating, new food and beverage outlets in the eastern entry plaza and a new lift in the western grandstand, has made the venue even more attractive to A-League soccer fans, particularly supporters of Adelaide United.
“Coopers is a proud South Australian company and Coopers Stadium is recognised around the nation as the home of Adelaide United, one of Australia’s leading soccer franchises.”
Pearce said the sponsorship agreement covered naming and exclusive pourage rights.
The cost of the agreement has not been disclosed.
