As theatre consultants, Schuler Shook Theatre Planners help define the spatial relationships of performance theatres and recently advised on audience and service access points as part of ARM Architecture's multidisciplinary team that submitted the winning plan for the new Gold Coast Cultural Precinct.

Schuler Shook are delighted that the overall precinct design that was described by jurors as "a bold and inclusive reimagining of what a cultural precinct might be, seeking to engage the widest possible demographic."

The winning design in this international competition was selected from 75 Stage One entries and three shortlisted Stage Two submissions.

Commenting on Schuler Shook's pleasure at being involved in the winning design, Partner Robert Shook, ASTC explained "Schuler Shook is extremely pleased to be a part of ARM's extraordinary design team for this significant arts project.
