Community Engagement Summit returns with fresh approach

The organisers of the Community Engagement Summit have advised that the event is returning this year bringing together key industry experts to share their knowledge in an interactive setting. Delivering a fresh approach to community engagement, the Summit, being held at Rydges World Square, Sydney from 21st to 23rd July, will provide contemporary and future-focused demonstrations of tools and techniques to help reach key audiences.

This year’s Summit will give attendees the opportunity to actively participate in a mixture of hands on, lecture and workshop based learning and hear from leading experts who will share the latest research and knowledge in community engagement and digital tools.

Offering something for everyone, the Summit will inspire all attendees with innovative approaches and techniques to put new ideas into practice for their communities.

Since first being staged in 2016, the Community Engagement Summit has brought together community and stakeholder engagement practitioners into a group that shapes the future of engagement practice across the nation.

This year’s Summit will host a mixture of hands on, lecture and workshop based learning where you will meet face to face with leaders, senior engagement professionals and consultants with vast experience in the sector.

The Summit will also feature the Engagement 101 Masterclass - hosted by engagement experts Dr Joel Fredericks from Thrive Engagement and Darius Turner from Captivate Consulting.

This one-day workshop is a practical, hands-on exploration of tools, techniques and strategies to design, develop and deploy community engagement.
