Commercial Aquatics Australia: a new name for AVP Commercial Pools
Leading commercial aquatic design and construction providers AVP Commercial Pools has changed its name to Commercial Aquatics Australia.
The new name reflects the company's expansion to become the main supplier of commercial aquatics solutions Australia-wide. Established in 1996 as a niche, Western Australia-based commercial pool contractor, Managing Director Mark Harper explains "our positioning statement sums it all up (we now deliver) aquatic solutions nationwide.
"These are exciting times at Commercial Aquatics Australia, we're a dynamic company, taking big strides across the nation."
Commercial Aquatics Australia (CAA) offers a complete design, construction and renovation service from initial concept through to completion. Specialising in commercial pool design and engineering, CAA produces comprehensive and environmentally sustainable design solutions. Commercial facilities include aquatic competition and leisure complexes, aquatic playgrounds, hotel and resort developments, school pools and community swimming centres.
Bringing over 30 years' experience to this highly specialised area, Harper's team has constructed major competition and leisure venues, including facilities including the South Australian Aquatic and Leisure Centre, Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre and Western Australia's Challenge Stadium.
The company has also installed Adventure World's Kahuna Falls and Ellenbrook's Rainbow Waters Playground as well as the luxurious pool facilities at WA's Burswood Resort, Smiths Beach Resort and Pacific Blue in New South Wales.
In the education sector, students at St Hilda's Girls' School and Aquinas School are enjoying CAA's new and renovated 50-metre pools, while the new aquatic facilities at community leisure centres such as Craigie Leisure Centre, Kulin Aquatic Centre and Next Generation, Kings Park, have proved popular with local communties.
CAA also focuses on the design and construction of aquatic facilities in remote communities and mine sites. The company's experience and expertise at solving the complex logistical and environmental challenges of construction at these remote sites produces successful results on time and on budget.
Examples are at Warmum, Bidyadanga and Fitzroy in the Kimberley, Kununurra and Wyndham in the East Kimberley, and Wiluna in the Pilbara.
In addition, CAA provides ongoing service, maintenance and water treatment filtration of commercial pools. With an in-house water treatment design team, backed by the company's Quality Assurance Management System, CAA offers maintenance solutions to commercial pool operators across the country.
