Cleanevent turns to Australia to fill UK management vacancy
Cleanevent UK, part of the Spotless Group's International Services Division, has turned to Australia in its search for a suitably qualified 'hands on' Regional Manager to work as part of its United Kingdom operations team.
The role will be responsible for managing the Cleanevent operations in the UK and will cover stadiums such Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, Fulham FC, The O2, Odyssey Arena Belfast, Silverstone and Twickenham.
The role will involve involve managing the region's venue managers and employees, implementing organisational strategy, managing the quality and cost effective delivery of contracted services to clients while maintaining excellent relationships with these clients and optimising the profitability of the region.
There will be significant travel within the region and there will be weekend work in line with our focus on the leisure industry.
Cleanevent, part of the Spotless International Services Division, has become an industry leader in the entertainment, events, sport and venues sector. Their very first contract, Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne, is still in the portfolio of venues that are serviced, and they have gone on to look after some of the most iconic venues all over the world.
In April 2010 the company was acquired by the Spotless Group as part of the international expansion. Founded in Melbourne in 1946, the Spotless Group are specialists in outsourced Facilities Management. The company has grown through organic expansion and acquisition and now has annual sales of £1.8 billion, 45,000 employees worldwide and has a top 200 listing on the ASX. It is estimated that globally Spotless serves 77 million customers each year.
Australian Craig Lovett, the founder of Cleanevent, it the current Chief Executive and Managing Director of Spotless' International Service Division, based in Uxbridge, West London.
