City of Bayswater offers golf business opportunity

The City of Bayswater is offering an exciting golf business opportunity seeking an experienced operator with the capacity to manage and develop the City's two golf courses through a staged Expression of Interest (EOI) process.

The City offers two public pay and play golf courses:

• Maylands Peninsula Golf Course - 18 hole course, floodlit driving range, putting / practice green and a ‘Pro-shop’ with professional golf tuition available. The course offers hospitality via a function room, bar and café.

• Embleton Golf Course - nine hole course, putting / practice green and ‘Pro-shop’.

Located approximately 8 kilometres north-east of central Perth, the City of Bayswater has a commitment to principal of public pay and play and with the recent closure of some neighbouring golf courses, including the popular Burswood Golf Course, sees the opportunity for a future operator to develop the City's golfing facilities and build on an existing strong customer base.

The City's desire is to ensure that its facilities are seen as the premier pay and play golfing and ancillary facilities in the metropolitan area..

Further information and the Expression of Interest document can be downloaded from the City of Bayswater website at www.bayswater.wa.gov.au

The Expression of Interest (EOI) process closes on 31st July 2015.
