China's largest waterpark opens

China's largest indoor/outdoor waterpark, the Bali Waterpark, has opened in the city of Fushun.
Themed as a Balinese tropical paradise, the ornate waterpark features world firsts such as WhiteWater's Flume-in-Flume Viper - a mega-sized waterslide that allows one tube to race literally inside another tube-with guests in both.
Designed and manufactured by WhiteWater, the outdoor portion of the Bali waterpark also features China's first hydraulic surf wave pool along with dueling AquaLoop waterslides. WhiteWater has also designed this new waterpark with an exciting Abyss and Family Boomerango complex, as well as its award-winning Master Blasterï¾®, FlowRiderï¾®, six-lane WhizzardTM Mat Racer, AquaPlay Giant RainFortressTM, an AquaPlayTM AP 1050 waterplay feature, a family raft ride, a children's slide complex and a sensational mix of speed and body slides.
WhiteWater President and Chief Executive Geoff Chutter believes that "with such a unique product mix and industry firsts, we anticipate that Bali Waterpark will see record-breaking attendance numbers, drawing from a local area population of 8 million people."
Established in 1980, WhiteWater has over 450 employees and is a vertically integrated supplier of the most successful waterpark attractions in the world.
