Cbus Super Stadium recruiting additional 40 hospitality and event staff for KISS concert
Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast is looking to recruit an additional 40 hospitality and event staff for the KISS concert – End of the Road World Tour’ to be held on 10th September which marks Cbus Super Stadium’s first ever live concert event.
Students from TAFE Queensland, Arcadia College, and Griffith University have already been recruited for KISS but more staff are needed.
The extra 40 casuals sought by Cbus Super Stadium were on top of up to 1,000 workers already secured for usher, security and food and drink service duties.
Queensland Tourism Minister Stirling Hinchliffe said KISS on the Gold Coast was a terrific job opportunity noting “It doesn’t get much better than being on staff for the last ever KISS stadium concert in Australia and potentially the world.
“And there’s a great chance for casual event staff to help out with jobs like distributing wristbands at the stadium turnstiles.”
Cbus Super Stadium Manager Kristian Blundell said he expected the event to be a big hit with fans and added “KISS have been impressing audiences for decades with their wild stage theatrics, costumes and pyrotechnic displays and I think a concert like this is just what the region needs after a difficult couple of years with Covid.
“Cbus Super Stadium has hosted NRL, rugby union, soccer, Nitro Circus and other community events and we’re really excited to add ‘concert venue’ to the list and perhaps this could be the first of many!”
