Casa Leisure secures ongoing management of the Hayden Stoeckel Swimming Pool
The Hayden Stoeckel Swimming Pool in Berri, South Australia will again be managed by Casa Leisure for the upcoming swimming season.
With a $450,000 currently nearing completion, Casa Leisure will oversee the reopening of the facilty prior to the summer school holiday period in December.
Welcoming its management contract extension, Casa Leisure General Manager Rob Heinjus explainss “it looks like a long hot summer is on the way, and what better place to relax than at the Hayden Stoeckel Swimming Pool in Berri.
“We can’t wait to get started with the Berri Barmera Council and deliver a safe, fun recreation outlet for families living and holidaying in the Riverland.”
Casa Leisure, which provides more than 20 years’ experience in the safe management of community aquatic and recreation facilities, is committed to employing and training local staff for day-to-day pool operations, with water safety being of the utmost importance. As Heinjus adds “we’re currently recruiting qualified local staff to work at the pool this summer.”
Berri Barmera Council Chief Executive David Beaton adds “it’s exciting to have the team from Casa Leisure joining us at a time that we have commenced regenerating the pool structure and surrounds.
“We are pleased that at the completion of the first stage of improvements we will be able to launch a new swimming season with a fresh but experienced management team.
“Council is looking forward to Casa Leisure establishing a strong and expanded level of aquatic services and we look forward to these services developing further as Council implements future facility improvements over the coming seasons.”
