Cameron Pearson announced as new Chief Executive at Queensland Tennis
Queensland Tennis has advised that Cameron Pearson has been appointed as its new Chief Executive, marking a return to a role he previously held from 2010 to 2016.
Replacing Kim Kachel, who has moved to become Chief Executive at Tennis Victoria, Pearson's appointment follows a comprehensive recruitment process, positioning him to once again lead the state sporting organisation as it continues to capitalise on recent growth and opportunities in the sport.
In addition to being Chief Executive at Queensland Tennis, Pearson (pictured) will continue his role as Brisbane International Tournament Director while focusing on driving tennis growth across Queensland.
Pearson’s return is also expected to further strengthen Tennis Queensland’s initiatives, focusing on expanding participation as tennis continues to attract diverse demographics across Australia.
Pearson’s leadership will be key in navigating these opportunities, working closely with clubs, coaches, and partners to build a vibrant future for tennis in Queensland.
The Board of Queensland Tennis also acknowledged Kachel for his contributions to the body.
