Camatic Seating beneath NRL fans in Las Vegas
As more than 40,000 fans headed to Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium overnight to watch the NRL’s groundbreaking double-header, a lesser-known element of the Australian presence at the venue was its seating - provided by Melbourne-based Camatic Seating.
All 65,000 spectator seats at the venue, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL), also showcased for the recent NFL Super Bowl LVIII, were supplied by the Wantirna South company.
Renowned for designing, manufacturing, and installing seating across various venues globally, including stadiums, arenas, cinemas, educational facilities and theatres, Camatic has established itself as a key player in the industry.
At the Superbowl, both the home stadiums of the competing teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, also have seating installations crafted by Camatic Seating - an achievement that not only underscores Camatic's commitment to innovation and excellence but also highlights its substantial impact on the local economy.
Commenting on this success, Camatic Seating Chief Executive, Kirk Edwards stated “this accomplishment is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees, some of whom have been with us for over 40 years.
“As an Australian-owned and operated family company, we take immense pride in our global contributions and the impact we have on the local community.”
Camatic has established its presence in nine out of the current 30 NFL stadiums, with installations totalling more than 600,000 seats.
