Cairns Regional Council seeks operator for Sugarworld Waterpark
The Cairns Regional Council is seeking a new lease and operator for its Sugarworld Waterpark.
Located located within the 8.52 hectare Sugarworld Parklands, the Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified operators to manage thie popular Cairns facility under a lease agreement.
Sugarworld’s features include a tandem rube raft slide;, a supajet open body slide;, a four-lane mat racer slide; a children’s interactive play system, including tipping water bucket and seven smaller waterslides; wading and freeform pools; and café and BBQ facilities.
In exchange for long term lease, tenderers are encouraged to propose capital investment offers commensurate with the existing facilities and services of the precinct that will enhance customer experience.
Tenders close at 4pm on Friday 29th July.
