Bumper Action Amusements agrees mini-golf development partnership
Melbourne-based Bumper Action Amusements has announced an entertainment partnership deal with US-based Castle Golf to design and build miniature golf courses across Australia.
Bumper Action Amusements has operated in the sales, service and hire of classic amusements and collectibles for over 40 years offering the best new and vintage pinball machines, video arcade games, sports table games, Wurlitzer jukeboxes, and neons. The company continues to be an Australian games industry leader in the 21st century.
For nearly 40 years as well, Castle Golf of Mesa, Arizona has been a premier designer, builder and contractor of miniature golf courses across the U.S and abroad with over 100 sites worldwide.
Bumper Action Amusements General Manager Robert Farrell explains "demand for retro gaming experiences and décor never goes out of style.
"Our products are a pop culture staple and even with today's new gaming technology, customers want to relive the nostalgic fun of their past, and to translate their childhood experiences into an opportunity for modern family entertainment. Expanding our market to include leisure lifestyle destinations such as miniature golf with this same message makes good sense.
Castle Golf Director of Marketing, Burdette Bremer adds "with locations throughout the USA, Europe and Asia, it is a natural evolution for the company to expand to Australia.
"With our renowned commitment to quality and innovation, along with engaging special effects, lighting and an environment that engages all senses, our teaming with Bumper Action Amusements to develop family golf parks makes solid use of an untapped market with an experienced international partner."
Bumper Action Amusements' Robert Farrell is an U.S. émigré having built and operated numerous family fun centers including Galactic Circus (New York, NY), New Rock City (New Rochelle, NY), Family Golf (St. Louis, MO) and Rockstar Bowling in Melbourne.
The companies are now working with multiple groups across Australia to roll out several courses country wide over the next two years.
