Brisbane Tri Nations Decider Sells Out
The Australian Rugby Union have advised that the Tri Nations decider between the Wallabies and the All Blacks at Suncorp Stadium this Saturday night is sold out.
A crowd of around 52,000 is assured after a final release of tickets (the late but limited numbers handed back by various constituents) went on sale yesterday.
The winner of the match will take home the Tri Nations trophy.
The game is also the third of four in this yearâs Bledisloe Cup series with the Qantas Wallabies needing to win this weekend to stay in the hunt for the trans-Tasman silverware. Before this third game, the teamâs have shared wins.
The series is currently locked at one-all.
Managers at the Suncorp Stadium had been undertaking contingency planning for the venue to host a home NRL semi-final for the Brisbane Broncos this Friday. However, the Broncos fifth placed finish on the NRL ladder means they will be playing away in their quarter final this week.
