Brisbane Lions partner with fitness brand TotalFusion at Springfield facility
The Brisbane Lions have announced a partnership with gym brand TotalFusion that will see the innovative health and wellness facility operator manage the new health and fitness centre being built at the Brighton Homes Arena in Springfield.
With the Brighton Homes Arena due to open in November and the new TotalFusion Lions facility set to open soon after, the health and fitness facility will be accessible for the whole community.
Brisbane Lions General Manager Infrastructure, Strategy and Government Relations, Jake Anson, said the gym was a key part of the new Brisbane Lions training and administration centre - Brighton Homes Arena - which is nearing the end of completion.
Anson advised "the Brisbane Lions are delivering a state-of-the-art Elite Performance Centre to supercharge our athletes’ development at Brighton Homes Arena.
“A unique aspect of the precinct will see our fans provided with public access to gym, pool and wellness facilities that will be used by Lions players.
"This will provide elite athletes, weekend warriors and regular gym-goers with the chance to workout alongside our AFL and AFLW stars."
Anson added “TotalFusion are Australia’s leading provider of fitness clubs, with three amazing premises across Brisbane.
"Our Club is very excited to partner with TotalFusion to bring their outstanding instructors and cutting edge programs to our new home.”
Located in the heart of Springfield Central, the facility will feature a state-of-the-art gym floor, five purpose-built group fitness studios, an outdoor swimming pool, infrared saunas and float tanks.
Leon McNiece, Director of TotalFusion parent company, Alliance Wellness Group said this space had been designed to offer a combination of health, fitness and wellness services with the local community in mind.
McNiece explained "our mission is to create unrivalled experiences in inspiring facilities that empower each individual to reach their full potential, and with the Brisbane Lion’s rich history of embodying the community, this partnership is a true alignment that will empower this community to move and feel better.
“We are excited to open this inclusive health and wellness space that welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels, while still offering a highly personalised experience for each individual.”
TotalFusion Lions is now offering a foundation membership rate for anyone that registers early and will be releasing further details from the start of August.
