Boyles Fitness and Spirit Medical Systems Group launch new products
A new source of high-quality, outcome-enhancing and cost-effective therapeutic products are now available to rehabilitation professionals in Australia with the launch of Spirit Medical Systems Group (SMSG) products through Boyles Fitness.
The new partnerships brings an innovative line of rehabilitation products to the market, including a treadmill, semi-recumbent seated stepper, and both upright and semi-recumbent bikes.
A division of parent company, Dyaco International Inc., SMSG have 25-years of experience in fitness equipment, with products each featuring unique symmetry programs in addition to their all-round superior features and performance, a fact which has been welcomed by clinicians as a distinguishing characteristic.
SMSG’s feature-rich new product line offers excellent versatility to meet the needs of a wide variety of clinical treatment applications. Superior therapeutic advantages are afforded to orthopedic, neurological, sports medicine, cardiopulmonary, and older adult regimens through a broad range of expertly-designed product features.
Useful features offered through the SMSG product line include:
The MT200 Treadmill features an instrumented deck for gait training, built-in parallel bars, independent incline and decline deck, and forward/reverse belt (which supports retro-walking to promote the use of muscle groups normally not used in forward walking). Overall, the MT200 Treadmill provides clinicians with one of the most complete treatment capabilities a treadmill can offer.
The MS300 Semi-recumbent Seated Stepper (pictured) enables comfortably-seated users both lower and upper body exercise. Further, the self-adjusting stroke length accommodates their specific range-of-motion capabilities. It offers a low impact, functional movement with minimal stress to lower body joints.
Both the MR100 Semi-Recumbent Bike and the MU100 Upright Bike offer independently adjustable crank/pedal lengths to accommodate different ranges-of-motion bilaterally. Multiple resistance modes, including an isokinetic mode and bi-directional resistance, are provided on both products. The MR100’s swivel seat enables easy patient/client access.
Equipped with across-the-board bi-lateral symmetry monitoring and biofeedback, combining cost-effectiveness, innovative design, and the highest-quality production standards, the SMSG product line stands poised to usher in a new era in the delivery of expanded patient therapeutic needs.
