Big Red Group opens new Gold Coast office following acquisition of Queensland brands
Australia and New Zealand’s largest experience marketplace, Big Red Group, has announced the opening of a new office space located in the Gold Coast to accommodate the organisation’s growth in Queensland.
Following the acquisition of two Queensland-based brands, Experience Oz and Experience Oz Local Agent, as well as a fresh recruitment drive in the Queensland team, the purpose-built office space marks the first corporate office outside of the Sydney HQ, as the organisation undergoes a period of growth and embraces a more distributed workforce.
A community hub open to all team members, the office will provide the wider Big Red Group community a new space to connect and work with team members across Australia and New Zealand, driving connection and collaboration.
Big Red Group’s Director of People and Culture, Maddi Robins notes “over the past 12 months, Big Red Group has doubled our workforce, and in this new working world, we’re proud to offer our teams working solutions which allow them to connect with peers and partners, virtually or in-person, while also the ability to work from anywhere.
“We’re committed to embracing a distributed workforce, which is why we’re excited to open the doors to our Gold Coast community hub. Reflecting the growth of our QLD team, we wanted to create a space that mirrors our Sydney HQ, complete with our key cultural traditions, and that accommodates community space for work, social experiences, town halls and supplier visits.”
